I am a Painter living and working on the Oregon Coast. I primarily paint quiet places where light filters slowly and the world feels like it’s back to something real.

I am inspired by transcendentalist thinking, Emerson, Thoreau, especially the belief that simplicity clarifies the spirit. What draws me is the question at its core: what does a life look like when you remove money, status, and expectation? What remains when you stand alone in the landscape?
